"I have lived in this neighborhood for about a year now and everyone looks out for each other. Most of our neighbors are elderly but we have a equal part of younger neighbors with kids also. "Port Clinton is a very quiet place most of the year and a great place to raise kids. The schools are modern (mostly new) and highly rated. Summers are busy! Lots of weekenders coming through town to visit the Lake Erie Islands. Cedar Point only about 30 minutes away and vast numbers of marinas, food establishments and clubs within a short drive. Excellent locale from which to daytrip to Cleveland, Toledo or Columbus areas. Beaches throughout area and both state and federal preserves within 30 minutes of town. Great area for birdwatching and fishing - also water recreation."
